Custom Design Process
Imagine the perfect piece for your home. It all starts here. Whether it's a functional built in cabinet or a beautiful dining table that draws you in, we are here to turn that idea into reality.
We are careful to consider every detail, from the wood species, wood grain, overall shape, form and function. We strive to make products that stand the test of time. The design, fabrication, and delivery process is detailed below, along with relevant policies.
After reaching out to us with a rough idea of what you would like built, we will respond to your request to ask further clarifying questions to fully conceptualize the project. Based on your responses, we will provide a rough estimate of design and project cost and timeframe.

Design renderings
If the client elects to continue, the full, detailed design is then created . The cost of the detailed design will be shared with client prior to the design being created. The cost is a flat fee based on the size and complexity of the project. After the first draft of the detailed design is created, the client is able to request further edits/ changes to the design. There is generally no fee for edits and changes , unless the desired edits require a substantial re-design. In the event of a substantial re-design, the client will be notified of the additional design free required to proceed.
Once a final design is approved, the client is required to sign a final scope of work and design document and pay 50% of the total cost of the project prior to the start of work on the project. This down-payment covers the initial cost of materials.
Final Design Approval
Delivery
The remaining cost of the project is due upon delivery. Delivery / installation (if needed) is pre-arranged and is due by the final delivery date noted on the final scope of work / design contract. The client will be notified of any anticipated delays in delivery as soon as possible, and a alternative delivery date will be negotiated as needed.
